CBS SPORTS LEAD GOLF ANALYST NICK FALDO SET TO HOST TWO NEW SHOWS ON
CBS SPORTS NETWORK


DAYS & KNIGHTS WITH SIR NICK to Debut Monday, April 27 at 7:30 PM, ET;

FALDO FORMULA – MIND. BODY. SWING. Premieres Immediately Following at 8:00 PM, ET


CBS Sports announced two new shows, both hosted by CBS Sports lead golf analyst and six-time major champion Sir Nick Faldo, set to air on CBS Sports Network on Monday nights.


The first, DAYS & KNIGHTS WITH SIR NICK, is a 30-minute, multi-episode series that debuts on Monday, April 27 (7:30 PM, ET) and chronicles the adventures of Faldo as he travels the world. The series is highlighted by conversations, golf instruction, cooking segments and Faldo taking part in unique and fun activities with some of the most interesting celebrities in the world including Richard Branson, Clint Eastwood, Bill Murray and Kelly Slater, among others.

The CBS Television Network also will broadcast two half-hour episodes later this year.


     The second show, FALDO FORMULA – MIND. BODY. SWING., premieres immediately following on Monday, April 27 (8:00 PM, ET). The weekly, 10-episode show features lessons, swing tips, course management secrets and mental exercises Faldo has perfected over the years – with the assistance of coaches Kjell Enhager, Garth Milne and Dr. Craig Farnsworth – to help golfers perform their best. He also will try out and review some of the latest equipment in golf.

Sir Nick Faldo, winner of three Masters Tournaments and three Open Championship titles and more than 40 tournaments worldwide, took over the position of CBS Sports’ lead golf analyst at the beginning of the 2007 golf season. In 1990, Faldo became the first international player to win the PGA of America’s “Player of the Year” Award, and in 1997 was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame. Faldo was honored with Knighthood in 2009 becoming only the second professional golfer to Sir Henry Cotton to receive the honor.
